You crawled your data. Now see it across wells.
Ask NDepth about a group of wells and the answer comes back as something you can work with: a cross-section with every reported show, formation top and LAS curve at depth, side by side. Compare the wells at a glance, then open the record behind any pick.
NDepth reads across your Crawler archive and the public record, answers the question, and turns the answer into the view it calls for: a section, a depth plot or a map. Findings link to their source records, with page references where available.
Preview the cross-section workspace
NDepth's cross-section workspace is planned for October 2026. Here's a preview of the workflow.
Ask, and the section draws itself
Type the question the way you'd ask a colleague. NDepth finds the wells, pulls the shows, tops and logs from the records, and renders the cross-section on the fly. No exporting, no loading LAS files by hand, no building the section from scratch.
Every show and top, at depth
Oil, gas, and oil-and-gas shows and formation tops land at their reported depth in every well. The section in the video holds 59 shows and 182 tops across seven wells, pulled from the mud logs and reports on file. Where a depth hasn't been verified, the section says so.
Logs on the section
Gamma ray, resistivity, neutron-density and mud gas tracks load beside the shows and tops, straight from the LAS files on record. Choose your curves and track layout once and NDepth keeps them for the next section. Pop the section out to a second screen when you want room to work.
Formations in 3D
Switch to 3D and the tops join well to well. Orbit the section, push in on a zone, and follow it from one well to the next.
Follow the source
Reported shows and formation tops link to their source records, with page references where available. LAS curves come from the LAS files on record. Open the source, check the depth, and decide.
Why it's different
- Built from your documents. Shows and tops come from the mud logs, reports and records Crawler already read. No re-keying.
- Source references. Findings link to the underlying documents or LAS records, with page references where available.
- Your archive and the public record together. Your Crawler archive and NDEX public well records land on the same section.
- Straight about uncertainty. Reported depths and unverified alignments are labeled as such, not quietly adjusted.
